CAST

Free-the-Music.com's principal cast can be mostly female-8F/4M, if desired. The show can be done by a cast as small as ten, or by an ensemble of any size. The running time is approximately 110 minutes.

WOMEN:

Molly Noggle, a high school senior, daughter of a U.S. Congressman
Lisa Suarez, a civics teacher
Jocelyn Jones, a TV reporter
Libby, a liberal lobbyist (also: Midge, in political ads)

MEN:

Jackson Smith, a high school senior
Sly "Silkworm" Wormley, a political consultant
Fred Klunk, a U.S. Congressman
Jim Noggle, a U.S. Congressman, Molly's dad

EITHER GENDER:

Brandon (or Brenda), a page in the U.S. Capitol
Conny, a conservative lobbyist (also: Madge or Mudge, in political ads)
Midge and Madge can be separate characters.

ENSEMBLE:

media people, teen activists, political staffers (as desired)

Free-The-Music.com has been workshopped at Hollywood's John Raitt Theater, New York's Maverick Theater, and Wellesley College, among other places.
